SUNDAY EVENINGS THIS WINTER: Pastor John Stiles is teaching a study through the book of Jonah. This is a casual service. We meet in the church basement sitting at tables for easier notetaking and discussion. Join us at 6:00 PM.
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS THIS WINTER: Care & Share meetings will be held in four locations: Union Mills, Littlestown, McSherrystown, and South Hanover. Call the church office for exact locations and times. The four topics of study from which to choose are: 1. “Heaven,” 2.”Building a Dynamic Faith” (Part II), 3.”Being a Christian in a Post-Modern World,” and 4.”A Case for Faith.”
Saturday, January 9th at 8:30 AM: Men’s breakfast at the home of Dan and Norma Gill. Call the church for directions.
Sunday, January 24th at 12:30 PM: Lunch will be held at the church for the Ladies Planning Meeting. Family members are welcome to stay for lunch. the Men will do the cleanup as the ladies hold their annual planning meeting starting about 1:00 PM.
January 24th: Santity of Life Sunday. An offering for the Alpha Pregnancy Center will be taken.
January 28th - 30th: Winter Preview at Appalachian Bible College! A chance for students in 9th - 12th grade to visit this exciting Bible collage campus with the special blessing of hearing Ken Ham, from Answers in Genesis. The cost for the trip is $35, including lodging and food. Cash will be needed for two meals on the road.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL: FCBC has two adult Sunday school classes. Both are taught by exceptional teachers. The “Auditorium Class” is for both men and women and is taught by Mr. Jack Danner, an professional scientist with an extensive knowledge of the Bible and great communication skills. This class is now studying church history. The second class is our “Ladies Class,” taught by Dr. Ann Shorb, Counselor and Educator, with the assistance of Mrs. Aimee Stiles. This class studies topics that are of special interest to ladies.
